OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 2025–2026 ACADEMIC YEAR OF THE INTERNATIONAL VISION UNIVERSITY

The opening of the 2025–2026 academic year at the International Vision University was held on October 1, 2025. This year marks the 12th anniversary of the university’s founding.

The ceremony began with the national anthems of the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of North Macedonia. Afterwards, the Rector of the International Vision University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can, delivered the opening speech, highlighting the university’s achievements over the past 12 years, its academic successes, and its international vision.

The event was further enriched by the presence of the Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fikrim Damka. Subsequently, the President of the Turkish Democratic Party of North Macedonia, Mr. Zülfikar Zejnullah, Member of Parliament of the TDP Dr. Beycan Ilyas, President of the TMBH Mr. Erdoğan Saraç, and the Education Advisor at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Skopje, Mr. Ali Rıza Altunel, delivered greeting speeches. The guests emphasized the importance of the university in the Balkans and its contribution to education.

Additionally, newly conferred PhD graduates who joined the academic community of the International Vision University were introduced. The goals for the new academic year were presented, along with best wishes for success to students and academic staff.

It was expressed that the new academic year may bring success, health, and productivity to all students, academics, and employees of the International Vision University.
